Air Jordan XI (11) Low FTSS Sample - White / Columbia Blue

Air Jordan XI (11) Low FTSS Sample - White / Columbia Blue

I already know what you’re thinking. These Air Jordan XI (11) Samples look just like the retro releases from 2001. That’s where you’re wrong. The colorway may be exactly the same, but there’s one huge difference…on these samples, there’s a translucent Jordan logo on the tongue. The retros have a plain tongue, and the samples look so much better because of the logo. Any collector would be happy to have these, especially in this pristine condition (peep the icy soles).

Nike SB Air Zoom FC May 2009 Releases

Along with May’s Nike SB 2009 releases come the Nike SB Air Zoom FC in two simple colorways. These FC’s come in black forest/jetstream and white/classic green. Both shoes have perforated uppers and suede panels in their respective contrasting colors. Both also have white mids0les and green soles and read “NIKE” on the back ankle heel. These are pretty clean for FC’s so if you’re a lover then watch out for them this month.

Jordan Rulez: White / Black - Silver, Black / White - Red

The Air Jordan Rulez is Jordan Brand’s newest team basketball sneaker which incorporates elements from past models. The sole of this sneaker is directly inspired by the Air Jordan TGIM (The Game is Mine) while the upper slightly resembles the Air Jordan VII (7) via the perforated leather. The pictured pair features a white patent leather and premium leather upper with blue and metallic silver accents. The second colorway, which can be seen after the jump, yields a black nubuck base with white and red accents. Unfortunately, there is no known release date for the Jordan Rulez as of yet, so be sure to stay tuned for updates.

Nike Zoom LeBron VI (6) Low Sample - Varsity Crimson / White / Midnight Navy

Nike Zoom LeBron 6 Low Sample - Varsity Crimson / White / Midnight Navy

The last Nike Zoom LeBron VI (6) Low that we saw was a simple colorway; this time around, Nikehas given the Cleveland Cav’s captain’ s sig shoe some flavor with the Nike Zoom LeBron VI Low sample in varsity crimson/white/midnight navy. The shoe features a varsity crimson red upper and toebox made of woven material and a nubuck swoosh that matches the back heel panel, ankle panel, and shoelace area. The upper is contrasted by a red snakeskin toe area, navy laces, white midsole, and navy sole. And of course the low’s use single stitching in the midsole. So if you’re a fan of these ZLVI’s, then pray that these get released.

Air Jordan Force IX (9) - Black / Varsity Red - White

Air Jordan Force IX (9) - Black / Varsity Red - White

The newest sneaker in the Air Jordan Force line comes in the form of a mixture between the Air Force 1 and the Air Jordan IX (9). While all other colorways of this shoe have been a hightop, just like the normal Air Jordan IX (9) model, these are the first to come in a lowtop version. In the classic black, varsity red, and white colorway, these sneakers have a little added flavor with the addition of a speckled panel on the upper.

Release Reminder: May 2, 2009

Last weekend was a little quiet in terms of sneaker releases, but the folks over at Nike and Jordan Brand are bringing the heat this week. With the extremely succesful release of the firstNike Air Yeezy colorway last month, Nike Sportswear (NSW) is set to roll out the second pair which hosts a black upper with pink accents and a glow in the dark sole. This weekend, Jordan Brand is expected to release four marquee colorways of the Air Jordan I (1) which many sneakerheads have been looking forward to for a while now. The AJ1s will release in two packs, not to be mistaken for packages, consisting of a Cinco De Mayo pack and a Laser Blue Polka Dot pack.

The Cinco De Mayo Pack includes a white and black based Air Jordan 1 which are both accented by multicolored stitching and a multicolored Jordan Wings logo on the ankle. The Laser Blue Polka Dot pack yields a mid and low cut AJ1 which both host laser blue polka dots, stitching, and outsoles.
